One-to-One Therapy in English – Here in Norway

Living in Norway but prefer therapy in English? I offer personalised, one-to-one sessions — online or in person — tailored to your needs. With extensive experience and specialist training in SFBT, clinical hypnosis, EMDR trauma therapy, and deep subconscious work, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow.

What we can work on together

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, constant worry, or a mind that won’t switch off…whether you want to process painful experiences from the past or learn to manage stress and regulate your emotions — our sessions can help you regain balance and peace of mind.

Together, we can strengthen your self-esteem and sense of self-worth, break free from patterns that no longer serve you, and bring more calm, clarity, and confidence into your daily life.

I can help you take those steps forward.

About me

From leading teams in crisis and war zones to guiding individuals through personal transformation, my path has been shaped by both discipline and compassion. Whether on Arctic expeditions or in the therapy room, my focus is always the same — creating a safe space for real change."

I am a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Norwegian Armed Forces with substantial experience leading teams in crisis and war zones, as well as in high-stakes Arctic expeditions.

My free time has taken me across winter plateaus like Hardangervidda and Finnmarksvidda, and into the remote Northwest Passage — experiences that taught me endurance, adaptability, and the strength of the human spirit.

As Head Instructor at the Norwegian Defence University College’s Staff School, I specialised in leadership and psychological operations, guiding others in making clear, confident decisions under pressure.

I also hold formal training in emotional intelligence, self-leadership, clinical hypnosis, and EMDR trauma therapy, with credentials from recognised institutions in the UK, USA, and Norway.

I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist and member of the Norwegian Association for Clinical Hypnosis, an organisation approved by the Norwegian Directorate of Health.

Before focusing full-time on therapy, I explored life from unique perspectives — under the sea as a scuba diver, and in the air as a special forces parachutist.

I now live with my girlfriend Linda, an artist and a remarkable, beautiful human being, and I am the proud father of three grown children.

Whether in the Arctic wilderness or the therapy room, my purpose remains the same: creating safe, supportive spaces where people can find clarity, resilience, and lasting change.
